After 17 years with ASSA ABLOY, Florian Badulescu is still passionate about finding better ways of working. He applies a Kaizen Lean-Green approach to bring about tangible and measurable improvements.
“I lead a department for sustainability and Lean and am in charge of the integrated management system.
I firmly believe that all products going to market should be manufactured with minimal energy consumption and environmental impact and in accordance with ethical and moral standards. The Kaizen system and continuous improvement are the keys to ASSA ABLOY Romania designing and manufacturing sustainable products. And this creates a business growth opportunity.
I love ASSA ABLOY’s products because they are sustainable products. They are manufactured with low consumption in utilities and with high morale in the workplace.
Sustainability is a lifestyle for me. It helps me make the right decisions and take the right direction both in life and in my career.
I have benefited along the way from many courses in technical, management and leadership areas. Mentoring in Lean has also been crucial for me. The focus put on sustainability and Lean is something that has eased my workload and created the conditions necessary for high performance.
I’ve worked here now for many years and we have a great team spirit. We take care of each other and provide unconditional support for our peers.
You know that cliché about ‘a company offering a dynamic environment where you can work within teams and grow professionally and personally’? Well in this case it’s true!”
