Goods Return Policy

ASSA ABLOY New Zealand wishes to remind customers of the goods return policy.

Customers must obtain a sales good return number (“SGR Number”) from ASSA ABLOY Customer Services before returning any goods. Please note non-stocked products are non-returnable, such as special order items or items requiring specific colour or keying instructions.

Once an SGR has been raised, goods must be returned by the Customer at the Customer’s expense and risk, in the original undamaged packaging with the SGR Number clearly marked on the outside of the packaging. All returns should be marked as follows:

ASSA ABLOY will only accept a return of goods if the goods are returned in “as new” and saleable condition free of any damage and subject to the Customer paying a restocking fee of up to 25% of the invoiced price of the returned goods. All goods must be returned within 14 days of the original order being placed. Any request to return goods by the Customer more than 30 days following delivery of such goods will be at the sole discretion of the Company.

Please note that going forward any goods returned without an attached SGR number will be returned to the customer with a letter outlining the returns policy.
