ASSA ABLOY signs new sponsorship agreement with Habitat for Humanity New Zealand

ASSA ABLOY New Zealand has signed a new agreement with housing charity Habitat for Humanity to support new building development for New Zealanders who are most in need. The partnership commencing October 2016 will result in the donation of interior and exterior locks and keys for homes built with Habitat for Humanity. “ASSA ABLOY New Zealand is proud to be adding to the existing relationships we have with Habitat for Humanity in other markets such as the US, Australia and Korea” said Simon Ellis, President of ASSA ABLOY Australia and New Zealand Group.

Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit organisation that works in partnership with people of goodwill and families in housing need, to eliminate sub-standard housing in over 70 countries. Habitat’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. It strives to realise this vision through new home builds, repair and renovation, disaster relief efforts and advocating for accessible and affordable shelter. “Habitat for Humanity New Zealand is proud to partner with ASSA ABLOY as we work with families to build safe, decent, affordable homes,” said Claire Szabo, CEO for Habitat for Humanity New Zealand
