Ken Dick was appointed General Manager ASSA ABLOY New Zealand in September 2008, having joined the ASSA ABLOY Group in 2001.
As General Manager, ASSA ABLOY New Zealand, Ken Dick’s focus is to build on ASSA ABLOY’s reputation as a manufacturer of quality door and window security hardware, increasing ‘customer relevance’ and becoming an employer of choice.
Under his leadership, exploring and developing existing market channels and making sure that all product gaps are filled with locally designed and manufactured products are paramount. An integral member of the Asia Pacific Executive Team, his charter is to position the company as best practice organisation within New Zealand.

Ken joined ASSA ABLOY in May 2001 as Manufacturing Manager for TRIMEC (Australia). During his time as Manufacturing Manager he successfully integrated Trimec with ASSA ABLOY. In 2005, he assumed the role of Business Manager for ASSA ABLOY Australia’s New South Wales operations, incorporating the Padde by Lockwood and ABLOY brands.
