Lockwood Pentagon 3P77 Dual Entry Deadlatch

Description

High security cylinder mortice locks and latches providing the latest in design and functionality. Suitable for heavy duty use in industrial and commercial buildings, institutions, clubs, schools, hospitals, hotels and similar buildings.

Designed to enable emergency and utility services to enter specific areas by second cylinder without giving access to all locksets in the building and the ability to lockout keys with restricted access at certain times.

Standards

HIGH SECURITY

Conforms to level SL8 Australian Lock Standard (AS4145.2-2008) when fitted with door furniture and anti drill cylinder.

DURABILITY
Exceeds level D8 (Durability) Australian Lock Standard (AS4145.2-2008).

ANTI-CORROSION
All 3P70 Series locks meet C6 (168 hrs) Australian Lock Standard (AS4145.2-2008).

FIRE RATED
Lockwood 3P70 Series Mortice Locks have been successfully tested up to four hours (depending on type of doorset) on fire door assemblies in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1905.1- 2005, Part 1: Fire Resistant Doorsets.

For aluminium doors add 3P72-AF01SS for mounting tabs accessory pack and fabricator face plate.

2.5mm stainless steel face plates

Galvanised steel for increased strength and corrosion protection

Latchbolts

Latchbolts are 15mm, stainless steel
Deadlatching is achieved by a stainless steel auxiliary bolt Strike Plate
Universal 1.5mm stainless steel strike

Springs

High grade spring steel material, corrosion protected Cylinder Retaining Pin
Hard-drawn spring steel wire, corrosion protected. Uses "slip pin" method

Door Thickness

32mm to 50mm

Accessories to accommodate thicker doors are available.

Door Clearance
To ensure correct functioning of the deadlatching mechanism and security for all locks, the clearance between the door and the frame should be 3mm.

Aluminium Doors
Aluminium door accessory packs are available upon request. Specify 3P72-AF01SS for mounting tabs accessory pack.

Cylinder
Bump resistant five pin tumbler mechanism. Standard Lockwood oval shaped brass cylinders and brass barrels.

Unique universal cam drives all lock functions. Turn adaptors may be required depending on function.

Extended Cylinders
Modular cylinder extensions are available for various door thicknesses.

Keying

Standard Keying

Supplied individually keyed with two keys per cylinder

Restricted Special Keying

Lockwood locks can be keyed to a number of controlled and/or specially keyed systems. These range from legally protected keys to protect against unauthorised duplication and can also include specially designed keying systems such as master key systems. This allows for different levels of mechanical access control.
